The 22nd annual Festival of Fine Craft offers 2 days of an art and shopping feel for the entire family unit with 125+ juried artists & craftspeople displaying and selling their works, special creative person demonstrations, hands-on family art activities, a Beer & Vino Garden*, Drinking glass Pumpkin Fundraiser, live music, and more!
For the health and safety of our artists, staff, and audiences, and based on the recommendations of the CDC, masks must exist worn indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will also be required outdoors when social distancing is not possible. Follow our Facebook page for engaging updates & highlights on our Festival plans. WheatonArts Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser*
Browse limited-edition handcrafted drinking glass pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors! Option & buy your favorites outside the Pottery Studio in a special pumpkin patch. *Please Notation: due to limited production time during COVID restrictions, pumpkin quantities are limited. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to supporting arts educational programming at WheatonArts!

Take a seat and relax in the Beer & Wine Garden, featuring Cape May Brewery &Bellview Winery.

Collaborate + Create: Art-Making Experiences
Join u.s.a. during the Festival for a series of costless hands-on experiences for all ages.
Paper Bowl Scarecrow Face up
Scarecrows are iconic symbols of the fall season. Create a playful scarecrow face using elementary materials, including a paper basin, buttons, and structure paper.
Tissue Paper Stained Glass Apple
Create the illusion of stained glass using a colorful assortment of tissue and structure newspaper. Use our template to create an apple tree-shaped frame to fill with small pieces of tissue newspaper and hang it in a window once you go habitation.
Beaded Fall Corn
Mini beaded fall corn is fun to create and is a festive craft the whole family tin do. These adorable beaded corns can exist turned into fall garland or given every bit gifts to family unit and friends at the Thanksgiving tabular array.
Scarecrow Construction
Our scarecrow construction tent is a fall family tradition! Protect your fall crops or decorate your home with a handmade scarecrow. Choose an outfit from an assortment of shirts and pants, or bring an outfit to stuff with straw.

Detect the arts of glassblowing, jewelry making, silk painting, spinning and weaving, chair caning, woodturning, wheel-thrown pottery, broom making, & more than! Talk and interact with the artists while learning virtually the skills and tools needed to create each craft.

Customs Arts Project:
Maya Sawdust Carpet

Did you know sawdust has been a traditional art medium for over 500 years? Participate in creating a Guatemalan sawdust carpet during this two-mean solar day community arts projection led by the Primary Guatemalan creative person Ubaldo Sánchez. The activity takes place outside the Folklife Center'southward building. The piece will be themed around stories and images associated with the Mayan fiber arts, images of Ixchel (Goddess of the moon, fertility, medicine, and patron of weavers), and Guatemalan Maya people dressed in traditional regional garments.

Guatemalan Weaving

Observe the materials, techniques, and aesthetics of today's Guatemalan material arts starting time hand! Engage with Guatemalan principal weavers Armando Sosa and Angélica López equally they provide hands-on demonstrations with unlike weaving techniques employed by Guatemalan artists for centuries. Angélica López will use a backstrap loom for her sit-in. Armando Sosa will apply tabletop looms (a smaller version of the treadle loom) for his demo and visitors willing to endeavor the technique. Located outside the Downwards Jersey Folklife Center.
